Who Lives in the Grass? (2004)
Presented at:
“Mados Infekcija” / 2005 / Vilnius
Photographer:
Marius Jančiauskas
“Who Lives in the Grass” – the collection was inspired by the Short Kama Sutra, which mentions three types of men, classified into animals according to the size of their intimate parts. The smallest was given the name of a rabbit.
The collection is dedicated to the rabbit – the least appreciated, but very sexual and rapidly reproducing little animal.
The collection includes many short skirts and mini jackets, swimsuits, and underwear – small but essential pieces in a wardrobe. It's a colorful collection for both men and women.
Especially for this collection, I created an accessories and footwear line made from wood, realized with the help of woodcarver and folk craftsman Antanas Januškevičius – my father. Each pair is unique in its color, design, and shape.
